I got a razor e100 electric scooter and when i charge it and go to press on the accelerator, it doesnt work?

I got a razor e100 electric scooter and when i charge it and go to press on the accelerator, it doesnt work?

what might be the problem. I was thinking t was the battery but the charger reads green and the on/off switch works fine. Anyone have a clue?
